we're going to use the delete tag (<del>) to put a line through writing like this

1. write something you want to put a line through
   Where did that line come from?
2. write this round it:
   Where did that <del>line</del>come from?
3. save the code and open the page in a browser
   you'll see this:
   
   Where did that line come from?
